Our Story

Why We Started Fox & Finch

We’ve always loved estate sales—not just for the treasures you can find, but for the stories behind them. The heirloom industry, with its vintage charm, well-traveled pieces, and sense of nostalgia, has long been a passion of ours. But over time, we saw a gap in the experience: families were often left juggling too many providers, unclear pricing, and a process that lacked both transparency and care.

That’s where Fox & Finch began.

We designed our company to do more than just manage estate events. We built a system to protect families, honor legacies, and simplify every step. With custom inventory tracking, tagged items, real-time reporting, and direct deposit features, our process is designed to ensure full clarity from beginning to end. Clients know exactly what their estate is worth, how each item is priced, and how their payout is calculated—no confusion, no question marks.

We also created a full-service model: cleaning, donation coordination, consignment, make-ready preparation, and even online auctions when needed. Instead of sending families in a dozen directions, we provide a calm, comprehensive experience under one roof.

For us, it’s personal. Every estate we walk into is a home full of stories. And every family we work with becomes part of ours. That’s why we built Fox & Finch—to offer transparency, trust, and thoughtful transition, all in one place.

Thoughtfully Done.

1. What is a commercial property inspection?

A commercial property inspection involves a detailed examination of the physical condition of a building or commercial property. This includes evaluating the structure, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, roof, foundation, and other critical components to assess their condition and identify any potential issues.

2. Why should I get a commercial property inspection?

A property inspection provides valuable insights into the condition of your commercial investment. It helps identify potential problems, avoid unexpected repairs, and ensures that your investment is secure and up to code. Whether buying, selling, or maintaining a property, a thorough inspection can save you time and money in the long run.

3. How long does a commercial property inspection take?

The length of a commercial property inspection can vary depending on the size and complexity of the building. Typically, an inspection takes between 3 to 6 hours. Larger or more intricate properties may require additional time to ensure every detail is carefully reviewed.

4. What’s included in a commercial property inspection report?

Our detailed inspection report includes a comprehensive assessment of the property’s condition, highlighting any issues found, photographs, recommendations for repairs, and an overall evaluation of the building’s systems and structure. The report is clear, concise, and easy to understand.

5. How much does a commercial property inspection cost?

The cost of a commercial property inspection depends on factors such as the property size, location, and the level of detail required. Contact us for a custom quote based on your property’s specific needs.

6. Do I need to be present during the inspection?

While it’s not necessary for you to be present during the inspection, we recommend being available if possible to ask questions or address any concerns. After the inspection, we will provide a detailed report and schedule a follow-up to discuss the findings.

7. How often should I have a commercial property inspected?

For existing properties, it’s a good practice to have an inspection every 2-3 years to stay on top of maintenance and identify any emerging issues. For properties undergoing significant renovations or those being bought or sold, an inspection should be done prior to finalizing any deals.
