At Fox & Finch, the Inventory & Pricing Specialist plays a key role in making sure each estate is documented, understood, and presented with care. From inputting detailed descriptions to assigning thoughtful, research-based pricing, your work helps honor a lifetime of belongings while supporting transparency for families and confidence for buyers.
The Inventory & Pricing Specialist is responsible for capturing the story and value of every item within the estate. Working closely with our prep and staging team, you’ll catalog each item using our digital tagging system, assign pricing based on market trends, and ensure that every detail is documented clearly for both the client and the sales team. Your work is what brings clarity and transparency to the entire process.
This role is ideal for someone who finds satisfaction in precision and enjoys both research and storytelling. You may be photographing a vintage vanity, inputting descriptions for glassware, or researching the fair market value of a mid-century sideboard. Whether it’s a high-value heirloom or a well-loved household piece, your goal is to honor it—making sure it’s clearly labeled, fairly priced, and ready to be seen. You’ll help ensure our clients receive accurate reporting, our team remains aligned, and our buyers know exactly what they’re discovering.
Ideal for someone seeking flexible work with meaningful impact. This role is based on estate scheduling, with opportunities to take on more projects as we grow.
Work is typically scheduled Monday–Friday, coordinated around estate prep timelines. Some flexibility is available based on workload and staging needs.
This is a hands-on role requiring in-home visits to catalog and tag items. Reliable transportation is required for travel to and from estate properties.
Pay is based on experience and accuracy, with opportunities to grow into lead pricing roles or specialty item research. Includes training, resources, and all necessary tools.

The right person for this role finds joy in details and dignity in accuracy. You don’t just see objects—you see their history, their material, their condition, and their place in the story of the home. You understand that an inventory list isn’t just a spreadsheet—it’s a tool for trust, a reflection of someone’s life, and a key to fair, transparent outcomes. You move through rooms methodically, carefully noting, tagging, and describing each item, whether it’s a rare antique or a well-loved kitchen tool. You work with focus, without needing constant direction, and you take pride in knowing your work helps the entire team function more smoothly.
Your nature is thoughtful, not rushed. You’re the person who catches what others miss: an untagged piece, a misidentified pattern, or a subtle value discrepancy that deserves a second look. And while you may work independently for much of the day, you know how to collaborate and communicate clearly when questions come up or timelines shift. At Fox & Finch, your eye for detail isn’t just helpful—it’s essential.
You have a meticulous mindset. Whether entering item descriptions or assigning prices, you triple-check your work for accuracy. You’re the type to straighten a label without being asked and take the time to ensure data is clean, clear, and consistent across the board.
You notice more than most—how light hits a piece of glass, the maker’s mark on a silver spoon, or the subtle wear on a wooden table. Your observational skills help ensure every item is properly identified, respected, and valued within the greater context of the estate.
